Regional Visioning Close to Home Subregional workshops create an opportunity for more people from a particular part of the region to be involved in Vision North Texas through an interactive workshop that addresses their area and its effect on the entire region. These workshops are designed to:
-
Achieve the overall Vision North Texas objectives and support the four Phase 2 initiatives.
-
Apply desired regional form concepts and the 10 Principles of Development Excellence to a smaller part of the region.
-
Create a forum for discussion of regional pattern issues that can't be addressed at the scale of the entire region but that are important to success regionwide.
-
Educate and inform more leaders in Vision North Texas.
-
Provide feedback to the larger regional effort about patterns that are appropriate and desirable in one part of the region.
